As Katie’s reputation grew, so did the demand for her thoughtful approach, leading organizations, business leaders, and developers to seek out her expertise for larger commercial projects.
Today, Color Works is a women-owned, process-driven design firm serving clients across the country in the multifamily, commercial, medical, government, and education sectors. What started as a passion for color has grown into a full-scale design firm offering interior design plans, exterior design plans, paint color selection, art sourcing and installation, branding support, and photo renderings. Our coast-to-coast portfolio reflects a broad range of project types, each shaped by the culture, context, and needs of the region it serves.
Our story is one of growth, refinement, and intentional leadership. Over the years, we have expanded our expertise, built a remarkable team, and managed hundreds of projects nationwide. Our Story
Color Works (WA) has been proudly serving for years. We're a family-owned and operated furniture store that was built on a simple idea: families deserve quality furniture at honest prices.
Our owner started this business because they saw too many families paying inflated prices at big-box stores and chain retailers. By working directly with manufacturers and keeping our operations lean, we're able to offer the same name-brand furniture at significantly lower prices. That's not a sales pitch. It's our business model.
